Ingredients:
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3-4 lbs chicken pieces (you can do less)
1/2 cup chopped ionion
3 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup ketchup
1/3 cup vinegar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup water
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Preparation:
In a large skillet over medium heat; heat oil. Fry chicken until browned. Drain off fat and place chicken in a roasting pan or baking dish 13.9.2-inches in size.
In a saucepan, melt the butter; saute chopped onion until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
Pour sauce over chicken and back at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until chicken is tender and juices run clear. Baste occasionally.
This tastes yummy with twice baked potatoes served as a side dish.
